These mofos - I trusted uTorrent because it's always been good so just clicked yes yes yes without reading. To change these settings back on chrome:
Jun 24, 2011 Getting chrome has stopped working popups but chrome still runs fine I'm getting a pop up that tells me chrome has stopped working when I start up chrome. Then I get more of these pop ups as I browse the web.
1. Open settings (either top right 'hamburger' or from the menu bar Chrome -> Preferences

2. In the section 'On startup' it's set it to 'Open a page or specific set of pages'. Click set pages and delete that yahoo crap and then choose your preferred option (I like 'Continue where you left off')
3. It's changed your default search engine to Yahoo. Still in preferences, in the Search section click 'Manage Search Engines'. Click 'Make default' next to Google then delete all the search engines you never want to use.
I think that puts everything back how it was. Will repost if I find anything else.
Google Chrome is my favorite Web Browser and it seems we do have full control over your browsing data. This data includes your browsing and download history, cache, cookies, passwords, and saved form data.
Use the
Clear browsing data
dialog to delete all your data or just a portion of your data, collected during a specific period of time. But there are still a bunch of files that it doesn’t touch.I was having bookmark’s favicon issue while switching from Stable to Beta Channel switching. None of the favicon were coming, somehow it got corrupted. Another issue I faced while ago was related to Microsoft SilverLight install.
